Putin calls for prolongation of capital amnesty
MOSCOW, Dec 26 (PRIME) -- President Vladimir Putin has called for prolongation of capital amnesty and release of businessmen relocating their firms to Russia from a 13% tax, he said at a meeting with legislators late Monday.
“Firstly, to prolong the term of capital amnesty, bearing in mind the external restrictions which are not decreasing, rather having a tendency to rise, it seems,” Putin said.
“Secondly, to release business representatives who close it (their business) abroad and relocate it to Russia from payment of a 13% tax. This will be an additional stimulus to drive capital to Russia. We will continue to work in this respect,” Putin said.
